The following three essays consider the various dining options for students in the town of Potsdam and on campus. We observed the habits of diners both on and off campus, and we came to the conclusion that students and businesses need to be more aware of each other. Restaurants could do more to cater to the specific need of the students, and the students need to show proper respect to the workers. We also asked, is there fair competition between on and off campus eateries?
Josephine: How do local Potsdam restaurants cater to students? What can students do to help create a beneficial relationship with local restaurants?
Brenna: Is there fair competition between the eateries both on and off campus?
Eva: Potsdam is a college town and most of the employees of restaurants on and off campus are working to cater to students. In return, students need to treat employees with respect, but it doesn't always happen.
