The next two essays are all about college students and the life that the student leads. They will inevitable have their own fun adventures... There are many activities for students to do, like new age hip stores such as the Hookah House and parties that involve underage drinking. With the actions of the college students fun, the police are involved in protecting and keeping these students safe and functional. These essays are mainly about different aspects day to day life of a college student and the fun activities the person pursues.
Samantha Combs: A new trend making its way into Potsdam is the Hookah House.Many students at both Clarkson and Potsdam enjoy smoking the hookah, though their parents may not approve of the act. The generation gap between students and parents has lent to different interpretations of the hookah and what it is used for.
Andrew Schede: Living in a town with two colleges right next to each other, and two more down the road this is a perfect example of a "college town" As we look more deeply into the situation of Potsdam being such a college town, we see how underage drinking plays an important role in the life of a college student. We also can see how drinking affects alot more than just the person and how the community can be affected.
Brett Waters: My essay is about the difficulty of using Canadian ID in Potsdam.
